Where Realise
was built.

The industrial deployments that proved the concept.

01 — The nickel problem

€400K saved before a single prototype was built.

During development of AEM electrolyzer stacks for Gen-hy's IPCEI DemonHyc program — a 31-partner European consortium — our predictive approach identified a critical supply chain risk 6 months early.

The nickel-90% specification in the bipolar plate design created an 8-month sourcing constraint. The project timeline: 3 months.

A design pivot was triggered before the prototyping phase. No expensive rework. No timeline slip. No surprised investors.

Estimated savings: €400K+ in avoided rework and 4 months preserved.

02 — The certification blindspot

8 months lost to a certification nobody saw coming.

At Genvia — the Schlumberger-CEA joint venture developing solid oxide electrolyzer stacks — DEKRA certification requirements were identified at TRL 6. After the architecture was frozen.

The result: a full redesign at the worst possible moment. 8 months of delay. A product launch pushed back. An entirely preventable outcome.

This is what Realise was built to stop.

03 — The bigger pattern

It's not one startup. It's the whole sector.

Across 6 years in European deeptech energy R&D — from nuclear materials modeling in India, through CEA Liten, Genvia, to coordinating 31 partners across 8 countries in the IPCEI DemonHyc program — the same pattern appeared every time.

Brilliant science. Promising prototypes. Then the valley of death.

Supply chain. Manufacturing. Regulation. Always late. Always expensive. Always predictable in hindsight.

Realise is the tool that should have existed.
